It's all gross and squidgy and then the oven will not be hot enough so you'll burn them when you grill the tops and have to scrape off the burnt bits and you've cleaned the kitchen now it's covered in burned pastry flakes. And your hands are all coating in meat fat like you're a fucking 1880's farmer's wife. Fuck this shit.

7/7/2016 1 Comment Roma Waldorf SaladSo I was sitting across from Gayle in the lunch room at work (see fruit-panacotta.html... I'm so proud of me - are you, I just learned how to do this) and she was eating this awesome salad. It looked so delicious. And healthy. I felt very unhealthy because I was eating ginger crunch for lunch. She has to be healthy though because she is Hapu. I can eat all the ginger crunch I want because I am not. She let me eat some and it was delicious.
I renamed this salad to make it super super flash, This recipe is a heaps flasher than my usual ones. That Gayle, she's so flash, showing me up all over the place.
Dressing (see how flash Gayle is) 1 Tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon lemon juice (you coulduse vinegar of your choice if you have no lemons, or no children to look for lemons) Black pepper to taste Mix together and drizzle over salad. YUM. 5/7/2016 0 Comments Southern Fried ChickenSo, Baby G, my daughter thought it would be an great idea to invite three friends over for a random sleepover. It was.
One of the boys was allergic to lots of foods (boys at a girls sleepover whoever would entertain such a thought!), so i wanted to give him a good time. A kids good time, not an adult 'good time'. so I made these and they're Awesome if I say so myself. Which I am because I'm writing this. Awesome. like me It's been ages since I put a recipe up. I'm shit really. you need 2kg of frozen chicken pieces (or less if you're not pigs) It served 5 kids, and me (I ate two) and we had 4 left over for lunch. Milk (I used rice milk because of allergies) a small bowl just to wet the chicken Flour maybe a cup spices of your choice. use about 2 Tablespoons, you can use a blend, or a mix like garlic, chicken salt, smoked paprika, pepper, what ever Salt 1 teaspoon Oil - I used rice bran, use a frying oil with a high smoke point (google what that is - I can't be fucked to explain it)
Enjoy! serve with mayonnaise sushi. That's sushi with no filling, because the party kids said NO VEGETABLES! It's kinda a East - Southwest fusion. actually just I cbf making anything else, and my daughter had requested sushi. I made avocado sushi for the vege daughter, but fucked up the cutting so gave her just a roll. The end. PS other things I made were vegan chocolate sauce for icecream sundaes, vegan waffles, vegan cupcakes, those apple rose things you see on facebook PPS I'm just showing off now. |
